Senior Collaborative Pianist & Arranger
Michael has been a music director, pianist, and arranger in the Kitchener-Waterloo area for many years, and is thrilled to be part of the Pop Nation team. He took his first piano lesson over 40 years ago, and quickly developed a love for all different styles of music. As a young adult, he discovered the joy of musical theatre performance and leadership and has participated in 30 shows with Kitchener-Waterloo Musical Productions (KWMP) including as Music Director for Cabaret, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Shrek, Seussical, Hairspray, and many more. Outside of his musical pursuits, Michael leads the Engineering team at a local tech company and enjoys spending time with his husband Bradley and their children Lincoln and Elizabeth.
