ABOUT
Our popular Mini! group is for performers aged 6 to 8 (grades 1-3).
AUDITIONS
No formal audition is required for Mini! However, we’d love to hear your voice – please send us a video for vocal assessment singing “Happy Birthday” or any other song you’re comfortable with. This will help us get a sense of your vocal abilities.
COMMITMENT
Make sure you have read the full term schedule and commitment below before submitting a request for registration. Participants are permitted to miss up to three rehearsals only.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
Term Rehearsal Dates: Saturday, September 26, 2026 to Sunday, January 10, 2027
Rehearsal Location: Emmanuel United Church, 22 Bridgeport Rd W, Waterloo, ON N2L 2Y3
REHEARSAL TIMES
Orange Group – 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Yellow Group – 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.
Green Group – 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Rehearsals will take place on Saturdays on the following dates:

October 2026
Saturdays: 3, (off for Thanksgiving October 10), 17, 24, 31
November 2026
Saturdays: 7, 14, 21, 28
December 2026
Saturdays: 5, 12 (off 19 & 26 for holiday break)
January 2027
Saturdays: 2, 9
SHOW WEEK SCHEDULE
Final Run-through on Saturday, January 9
9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (extended rehearsal time)
Our final concerts will be on Sunday, January 11 in the afternoon at the Humanities Theatre in Waterloo. These concerts are shared between the recreational classes and Mini groups.
Show Day Schedule – Sunday, January 10
- 10:00 a.m. Arrival at the Humanities Theatre
- 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dress Rehearsal on stage
- 12:00 p.m. First audience arrives while performers eat lunch
- 12:30 p.m. Class Recital #1
- 1:30 p.m. First audience clears and the stage is reset.
- 2:30 p.m. Second audience arrives while performers have a break.
- 3:00 p.m. Class Recital #2
- 4:00 p.m. Done
