Amanda Kind is a voice teacher, singer, songwriter, and performer. She teaches commercial music at Wilfrid Laurier University, and has been a faculty member or guest lecturer for many other music education programs including in the Music Program at University of Guelph and the Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College Music. Amanda has recorded a wide variety of music including country singles “The Good Fight,” “Rebel Spirit,” “Love Used To Live Here,” “Slow Dance” (which peaked at #1 on SiriusXM Top of the Country). She is part of the CMAOntario-nominated country duo Amanda & James. Their singles “Another Round,” and “Two Wrongs Don’t Make A Right” continue to play on country radio. She is a member of the Songwriters Association of Canada, SOCAN, the Canadian Country Music Association, and recently completed her term as the Interim President of the board for the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) in Ontario.
