You’ll need to upload your video to a sharing service like YouTube, Google Drive, or DropBox. Once you have the link for your audition video you can input that in the supplied audition form.
How To Upload An Unlisted Video To YouTube
“Unlisted” means that only people who have the link to the video can view it (such as
the instructor team or family and friends to whom you send the link). An unlisted video
will not appear in any of YouTube’s public spaces (such as search results, your channel,
or the Browse page). An unlisted video is different than a private video. You can choose
to make any of your uploads an unlisted video in your YouTube Account settings.
To upload a new video:
- Sign into or create your YouTube Account
- Go to your My Channel page
- If you need to upload a video, click on create a video or post (the camcorder icon in
the upper right banner), then upload video. - Change the setting to upload the video as an “Unlisted Video” and select the video
from your desktop which you’d like to make an “Unlisted Video”. Click Done to confirm. - Copy video URL link and include it when you submit your audition form
To edit a video you’ve already uploaded: - Go to the Video Manager and click on the video.
- Go to Edit. Under Basic Information, you’ll see the option to mark your video as
“unlisted,” “public,” or “private.” 3. Select “Unlisted Video”. - Don’t forget to click the Save Changes button.
- Copy the video URL link found to the right of the video in Video Manager (under
“video information”), and include this when you submit your audition form.
Please note that we cannot accept video auditions unless they are submitted as an
“Unlisted Video” on YouTube. Videos are often large file sizes that cannot be emailed

- Choose “File upload”.
- Select the video file from your computer and click Open.
- Wait for the upload to finish (you’ll see a progress bar in the bottom right).
Step 3: Share the Video
- Once uploaded, find the video in your Drive (refresh the page if needed).
- Right-click the video and select “Share”.
- In the pop-up, under “General access”, click where it says “Restricted” and change it to:
- “Anyone with the link” – if you want anyone who has the link to view it.
- Make sure the dropdown next to that says “Viewer” (not Editor or Commenter).
- Click “Copy link”, then “Done”.
- Paste the link in an email, message, or wherever you want to share it.
On a Phone or Tablet (Google Drive App – iOS or Android)

- Download and install it if you don’t already have it.
- Open the app and log in.

- Tap the three dots (⋮) next to the uploaded video.
- Tap “Share”.
- Under “Who has access,” tap “Change” next to “Restricted” and switch to “Anyone with the link”.
- Confirm it’s set to “Viewer” access.
- Tap “Copy link”, then share it however you’d like.
